How do we record formative assessments for students?

In a teacher account: -

Go to the Curriculum Progress icon (graduation cap) - Select your assigned class > curriculum > topic/area of learning > statement.

Assess using the right-hand toggles and click Progress Update to save - Use Quick Assess All to streamline common judgements.
